tire sizes

Hey guys, got a buddy who's getting new tires and maybe rims too. It's an '06. STOCK height and staying that way. He's thinking about going with some 20" rims. What size tires can we fit on those rims with no leveling kit? It'd be a 20"x9" rim with I'm assuming 4.5" backspace.
Will 305x55's fit?
How about 325x50's
He has coil front and mine is leaf, so I'm not sure.

Pics would be great too guys

Also if he keeps the stock 17"x8" rims what's the biggest we could go there? He's looking for wider rather than taller. Now I know it's only an 8" rim, but will 305x65's fit?

Again any pics of this would be great too guys

Help me out

Thanks
