I won't say the trailer was 'appropriate', it was bought for hauling a small tractor or such. I've put a couple of Mustangs, a civic, a caprice, and a 65 Ford f100 with a tool body for a bed, 4wd Kabota tractor with box blade [28hp]. The ramps were fine with all of the above until that skidsteer. I thought they were tweaked when I unloaded it at my father-in-laws. I finally had to take it back to the owner. I then noticed that the thing bent my ramps unloading it and pissed me off. I won't be hauling it ever again anyway. My father in law offered to 'have the ramps straightened'. I told him to leave them alone you can't straighten them without making them weaker. I don't want them braced either as they weight almost 50lbs a piece. He can go buy the truck, trailer, and stuff to haul with and quit borrowing me and my stuff. I bought the truck to hotrod it and haul a car, maybe once a year.I didn't used to mind helping out, but with broken/damaged stuff, using my fuel, and what seems like little appreciation, [known him for 15 years and he's calls me Terry, Jeremy, and a few other people's names; It's Tracy] I'm DONE.

Well, skid steer's can be pretty hefty for being such compact tractors. Even some of the wheeled versions can be too heavy for our trucks to pull. (if you follow the guidelines stated within the manual) I've hauled a tracked skid steer a couple times with my truck, though it and the trailer were rentals, so I didn't care in the least wether it tweaked the trailer or not.

Helping out, and getting no appreciation for it sucks. Heck, the least they could do, is make sure they're addressing you by the correct name.

So, I'll do it for them. Tracy, thank you for helping out. Though I can easily understand if you should choose not to do it any more.

I was going to call around today and try to find a set of 315 16s.

Dunlop Tires - Find The Right Tire - Tire Specifications

They are not making them right now?

Know anything about these?

^^^I've heard of the Fierce tires before, though I've never run them personally. Fierce Tires are made by the Goodyeard Tire company.

The Fierce M/T is an alright looking tire. If I got a lead on a set for a good price, then I'd seriously consider them. I've got Hankook M/T's now, but when it comes time to change them out, I'll be searching around. (not that I'm at all unhappy with the Hankook's, but I'll be looking to save any money I can, so the "off" brand tires, like Fierce, Nexen, etc., will be hot in the running)

Discount Tire had some sizes in stock, they had the 265/70/17's in stock. I wanted to up my factory size by 1 and had to put mine on back order. Dunlop/Goodyear sent me an email saying they would start production on the week of Nov.23. Call Discount and see what they got. Tire Rack is cheaper until you figure in shipping, then they were higher for me. You will have to go there anyway to get a pic of the Dunlops. Discount doesn't have a pic to go with the listing. Discount will price match anyway I think.

The guy that can't get my name right, is my father in law of 6 years. I dated said daughter for 10 years before that. the other son in law is named Jeremy, but we are nothing alike.

Dang, 16 years and he can't get your name right. That's bad.

Well, if the Fierce tires are a better deal, I'd seriously consider them. They look like they'd perform decently enough in mud, and look like they'd be pretty stable on road too.
