Hankook MT's

Just wondering if anybody else out there is running the Hankook Dyna Pro MT?

I've got the Hankook MT's on my truck in 285/75-16. Got about 10K on them now, with no appreciable tread wear.

I've been very happy with these tires. They run quieter, and smoother than any other MT I've dealt with.

What's everybody else got for mileage so far? Done any towing? What are your opinions? Why did you get them?

For me, it was a 10pr, E rated MT, that was only $190 a tire. So far, I'm happy.

Put them on my rig and loved the traction. Ran them loaded and wore the crap out of them. Won't buy them again. Put on 18k, now I need new tires.

So were you haulin/ towing? They didn't hold up for you with the extra weight/ grip/ traction? Just wondering.

The welding machine in my sig weighs 1800# alone plus ooxy torch bottles, tool boxes tools rod ect.... about 3200# total.

The traction was awesome - the wear s*cks.

Wow, that sucks. MT's aren't cheap. 18K and needing replacement. Bummer. (that's like the Nitto terra grapplers on my fiance's F150, 20K and gotta go)

Hope mine wear better than that. I don't usually have any weight in my bed really. (maybe a 100# or so in tools and other truck support/ maintenance stuff).

I've got about 10k on the Hankooks MT's on my F150 and Dad's got them in 265/75/16 on his SD and has around 12k on them and they are wearing good with little to no wear. I'm plannin to put a 35" set of them on my OBS PSD sumtime this winter. They are a real popular tire around our area because they get around pretty good and wear pretty well for a MT. Most guys around here get atleast 25k up to mid 30's out of a set and thats pullin, haulin and the whole 9 yards.

I just put a set of these on my father in laws F150 and he's liking them a lot. He says it makes his truck feel more like a truck should and he's been happy with how the tire grips in the Arizona desert. It's hard to beat these for the money.

Well for what I get out of tires I looked in to 19.5 rims and commercial 254/70/19.5. The set up is pricey up front but I should get 80k plus out of them.

I replaced my 315/70r17 BFG AT's with 35x12.50r17 Hankook Mt's. I have had them for about 3k miles. No wear yet. I have towed my 5'vr a couple of times with them but not far. Much more stable. They are not any louder than the BFG's on pavement but you can hear a hummmm on concrete roads. I like them so far. I will be going on a 1500 mile road trip with the trailer in a couple of weeks. We will see how they do. I am also running balancing beads in them. I lost a little mpg's.
