wheel offset ??

Hi guys , Just bought some 18 x 9 wheels to suit my 02 f250 here in Australia off ebay, and have discovered the offset is + 11 I was hoping to run 35s or perhaps 37s but i think they will rub on the springs . Any options??

Is your truck a 4x4, I just bought some wheels myself and I was recommended a 0 offset so they wouldn't stick to far out the fender. NO tires yet I haven't mounted them yet. +11 doesn't seem to much but depending on the width of the tire that you chose and how high your truck sits that little bit might come into play. I've damaged tires over less than 5mm of offset. I hope you do find out that these will fit well and I am also curious to know myself.

yep, the truck is a 4x4, I was hoping to use a 4'' lift and a min of 12.5 or 13.5 wide tires. the reason for not going to wild ,is that the authorities here don't like mods at all .I would love to put a larger lift/tire combo on the old girl. She's getting painted black as we speak, love the blacked out look.

Very nice, post some pix maybe some before and after paint job pix so you can start sort of a journal of the progress. I just have leveling kit and was looking at just 33" maybe some 34" tires on an 18" rim.

Here's a pic of my truck on just a leveling kit. It's a 2wd so yours might sit a bit higher. I was thinking 305/60-65/18 tires for my truck. I was comparing a 285/6018 and it looks like the stock 33" tires. Good luck with your progress have fun.

A +11 offset on a 9" wheel is equal to about a 5.5" backspace. They will most likely rub your springs since the BS of those wheels is more for a '05+.

I have an 03 f250 with a 4 inch lift. Will -14mm backspacing fit? (American Eagle Series 101 18x9)

Anywhere from a -9mm offset and greater should work just fine.

Does the bigger the number make them stick out further? Like would a -25 offset stick out further from wheelwell than a -12 offset?
