???Torque Converter???

I'm a newbie here. Bought my 2000 F250 super duty 7.3 new. Now 250000 miles. I've been pretty happy with it. Had to put on new oil pan it rusted out . Other than that regular stuff. I now notice a transmission problem not shifting right. Going to pull transmission and have rebuilt. Really confused with all the talk about the torque converters. I pull a 24 foot enclosed trailer with a model T in it. Which torque converted should I buy. Really don't want to over spend on one which is over kill, but don't want trouble with not getting a good one. I do use the truck to plow my driveway and two neighbors driveways in Michigan.
You guys are super informed and why over my tech ability Just what should I buy.

We have one that would be a better upgrade than a stocker..Multi Disc, 1100 stall, Grob Cover (cold formed and stronger than stock, but not flat/billet) Also have Billet ones.

buy a whole trans from ford, it will come with a new torque converter, $2750 if you have an account with them.

^^exactly what i did at christmas time. I was under three grand out the door(with core and installing myself) I pull my fifth wheel more often than most and have had no problems with it. Also it came with a 3 year unlimited mile warranty.

If your truck is stock, and you monitor temps, you should be just fine. I eventually would like to uprgade my trans some to hold up better to my engine
