Found in 7.3 engine bay

As a new owner I found this mounted on driver side fender in the engine compartment and don't have a clue what it is of does, if anyone has any insight plz let me know. Closest thang I found was a potential fail safe device ?

Use the photo bucket app and upload them to it and then use the IMG code and paste it to the thread and pics show up

It's a safety device to keep you from harming the engine. It monitors coolant, oil pressure, and several other things. If any of them are out of the preset operating ranges the module either sounds an alarm or shuts off the vehicle completely. It's commonly used on fleet vehicles.
