4x4 High isn't working

hey I got a 2004 f350 6.0l and I live in Minnesota and the snow is starting to fly and I realized that my 4x4 high is not working but the light comes on and the 4x4low IS working. I just bought the truck this summer and I am trying to learn how to fix some of the stuff myself. so if any body could help that would be awesome thanks a lot.

Does turning the hubs to lock allow 4wd to engage? If so, you either have a vacuum leak somewhere between the hubs and vacuum pump or the hubs themselves either need new seals or completely replaced.
