catalytic converter

Has anyone removed there cat converter from a 6.0 and passed emissions test in Arizona?

hey i am new here but to let you know i took my cat off and took a 1.5' long 1" wood drill bit and started drilling hole through the material on the inside. then once i had a bunch of holes i started chipping it all out, now my cat is just a big hollow cat, put it back on and passed the smog check in california because they just look under the truck and see it is there they cant tell the inside is hollow.
