best 7.3 intake?

what did yo guys go with for cold air intakes on the 7.3's? any brands to stay away from?

stay away from K&N.

other than that.... AFE and S&B are a good choice if you didn't wnat to do the 6637.

DIY with a 6637 filter would be my choice.











Also, weird location for a question like this. Next time I'd suggest posting in the "7.3 General discussion" or "7.3 performance parts" section

I've got the aFe - Stage 2 EX Cold Air Intake w/ the pro guard 7. I like it A LOT. A bit pricey but the results are amazing. Best bet for the price is the DIY 6637. But if you've got the extra money to spend on something that looks nice, comes with a shroud to keep temps and debris out then I would go with an aFe for sure.

I have the K&N on mine and it dose just fine, the only problem that I have had is running my truck through the mud and the filter looks brown now even after using the recharge kit
