Battery Light on

I have just replaced my serpentine belt, removed my alternator and had it tested and replaced both of the batteries. I still have the battery light on. What else could cause this problem?

Maybe alternator regulator?

my alt tested good too, but was on it's way out the door. My batt light was intermittant though. replaced the alternator and haven't had an issue since with the batt light.

i have intermittent battery light i checked the alt output etc - i then put a volt gauge in the truck and it charges 14v even when the battery light is on i just ignor it anymore i cant figure it out
