What is this fuel pressure increase diode?

My Diesel Tech said he could put a small diode in my truck to increse the fuel pressure. What is this, and is it a good idea?

I'm sure what it is a heavy duty spring that put some pressure increase ,put one in my 7.3 gained a few lbs

A diode is an electronic component. They, among other things, act as a one way valve for the flow of electricity. Fuel pressure on the 6.0 is controlled mechanically, not electronically so a diode will do nothing for fuel pressure. Search here for the blue spring mod, that is what you want to get proper fuel pressure.
