Banks IQ
I have a 6.0L that I already installed the Banks 6-gun on. I know the Banks IQ works inconjunction with the 6-gun. My question is has anyone had any problems with the IQ? I'm thinking about getting on for my truck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have one, and i like it. it has limiter you can set so that the 6gun will turn off if, EGT gets to high, eng temp to high, ect. also the tune does not work until you reach ENG temp of 120. gauges are very easy to read at a glance. the only problem i have had it very few months it freezes up and it needs to be powered off and on. Ive called Banks an they say they are aware of this an that a SW update will be available soon. its been over a year. but in all i like it.

i have been running the banks IQ six gun tuner for about 2 1/2 months now. The only problem I have had with it is that sometimes it will loose power but i just hit return and it works the rest of the drive. I attribute this to a faulty ground somewhere in the truck because it will also mess with my ISSPRO gauges when this happens. I all around like this system though. I can monitor a lot of parameters with the engine and the on the fly shift is nice. Just remember if you have the Torqshift transmission there is a learning curve for the banks system.
