good post

Thank you and good job, Very good info. Now if people would just read it and understand that it takes more too keep suff on a trailer than a $15.00 wal-mart strap.

Last summer, some guy was stacking plywood on a flatbed trailer (no sides) and didn't bother to tie it down. Said that it was heavy enough and it wouldn't go anywhere. Once he made the turn out of the Home Depot, over half of the 2+ foot tall stack slid off into the road. Lucky it happened at the entrance and not on the highway!
I've seen lots of furniture shatter in the road because people thought that it's heavy enough not to go anywhere and they wouldn't be going over 30 anyway...

I've seen loads lost too, some people, I swear!

And.... people think I'm crazy for requiring FOUR tie downs per quad on my flatbed as well as a velcro strap to secure the front brakes so the quad doesn't move.
