There wont actually be a second "trailer" , the Jeep will be flat towed behind the fifth. The curb weight of the Jeep is 3600 lbs. and the empty weight of the fifth is 5500 lbs.. I wont be filling up the water tank on the camper, it will just be luggage, food etc.. You guys most likely know better than me though. Travis |

Double tow is not that difficult but sway control on the last vehicle would be very wise. Just make sure you don't get yourself in a situation where backing up is going to be a must... You'll have to drop the Jeep and then do you're moving around... But then too my partner in crime knows how to back multiple pivot points ... It's an ugly process but I've seen a video of him backing 6 pivot points when he was doing heavy haul (just the booster, empty trailer and jeeps)... He did it on a bet but then too the guy is nuts...Good luck and make sure to double check everything... Stop periodically and recheck everything... Ken.... |

I would definetly invest in a sway control device since you don't have a way to use the brakes on the jeep to control sway you should have something, if it starts whipping around it will throw the camper around too
