Talking Work truck replacement questions

Hello All,

I am in the process of researching a replacement truck for my 2008 f250 4x4 ext cab work truck for my business. I currently have a 5.4 Gasser that is often confused with a 6.0 (cam chain!). It screams daily at over 3k rpm and I average 40-50k per year. Truck gvw is usually around 9k daily, and sometimes "slightly overweight"

So although I would love a new truck, I have no issue with "slightly used". I would like more power, better fuel mileage and a nice trim level since I live in the thing 9 months out of the year.

I would appreciate all comments related to engine size, gear size and any other personal experiences.

Live Long and Prosper!

I would imagine with the amount of miles you drive a year you would benefit from a 6.7 instead of a 6.4 main reason being you can get nice 6.7's for only a little more money and they get better mpg and should be a little more reliable.
