2005 psd stock 6.0 fx4 king ranch.

I was pulling a 7500 bl pull behind rv going about 65-70 pedal to the floor, and had a chevy 1500 pull up beside me with a 2 horse trailer maybe(3500-4000lbs) including horses.. He passed me like I was sitting still! WTF!!!

I had no more at 70-72 mph! What is the deal?

Do I need a chip?

Not that I want to race with a laod but would like to know I have the power there if I do need it..

I bet hes running it hard because at work we got a chevy 3500 gas that struggled to pull a bailer lol...he may have passed you, but your truck will last much longer than his lol

wow thats rough... I pull 8000+lbs in a enclosed car hauler and I run 75-80mph with lots to spare.. that was stock .. chipped I have had it to 90mph and I would have went faster but I declined as I had my 79 in tow

It is a stock 2005 6.0... Dunno, no check engine light and no codes. Cant have it happen again!

I dont care if there are no codes something is wrong with that truck.. it should tow 7500lbs like nothing ...let alone top out at 72mph with the weight you had

If this was with the 97 (being stock) I could see it, but not the 6.0. Somethings wrong man. 7k ain't much at all.
