Roughly 17000 pounds

This is a record for me. Haha. The truck actually pulled better than I thought it would through the hilly curvy country roads. Just for fun I reset my mileage computer. It showed I got just under 8 MPH! Would have liked to have pulled it down the interstate to see how it done, but maybe next time.

Nice haul, is it 17+ the truck or 17 total, I got roughly 7.5-8.2 mpg hauling 17k down I-40 from ca to ga

17 just in the old heavy trailer and hay bails. That's a lot of fuel to burn, but my god is that heavy too. Tow/haul mode was a perfect match. And really being a 3/4 ton, I expected more squat, but it wasn't that bad at all.

It looks like you put the weight back on the trailer, leading to less tongue weight & less squat.

Glad it went well, don't get caught!

Why ya. Major under rated. An older friend of mine pulls a 5th wheel and Mini Cooper behind it. He weighs in all together just over 30k. Ridiculous. He goes from MO to FL twice a year. 6.0 handles it just fine. 05 SRW f350 with 4.10 rearend.

I don't even know what my max tow rating is. But as far as I'm concerned, it's irrelevant. Haha
