How good is a Spearco IC: read here

Put the Spearco IC to the test on Sat. Believe it or not the harder I pushed it the cooler it stayed. This was the first long tow since the install. The first hill I tried to stay easy on the throttle and it got to 1450 so I dropped a gear. From there on I picked up a little more speed at the bottom and pushed it harder to the top. Never dropped a gear and never got over 1350. This was 150 mile tow north on I79 from Charleston WV to Morgantown WV. And yes we have hills. Read here to see what happened. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=104390

How long were you at 1450?

Too bad about that injector w/ the chevy. I've heard that is one of their main weaknesses.

Wasn't long at those temps. If you haven't followed the thread on TDP we found out today the DMax cracked a piston.
