Up grading tranny
I have over 300k on my 7.3 with the stock tranny. thinking about overhauling the engine and transmission and was wonder if I want to beef up my tranny while I am at it.
Where can I learn about transmissions.

Well, you can. Valve bodies are good as well as regular maintenance, external spin on filter for added protection, and a bigger cooler.
Then you can upgrade the TC while you're there if you want. And even then further, upgrade internals.
