Blue Ox Gooseneck Hitch

Is there anyone out there that is using one? I might have a line on a trailer and can get one cheaper than a b&w.

Did you get the blue ox hitch? i was looking at goosenecks and liked how this one didn't have a handle in the wheel well.

Yeah I did buy one, and so did my brother. I like it. I keep my ball in the socket year round. I tired never seize on it last winter and I used a thin coat of wheel bearing grease on it this winter. Both of them caked and made it very stiff to rotate the ball out. I'm looking for a lithium grease to use this next winter.

Didn't your 6.7 come with the gooseneck under the bed?

I am thinking something other than spray grease. I know they make some in a tube that's a little better. I got 8 months to figure out what to use next winter.

Nope. I didn't want the 4 giant holes in the bed besides the one in the center. And I can get a blue ox for cheaper.

Have you thought about silicone grease? It doesn't get super stiff in cold weather and is usually food grade safe! And it's slippery as all get out
