Front receiver hitch
Has anyone installed a front receiver hitch on your '11/'12 SuperDuty? If so, does it protrude past the bumper?
We are planning on buying a fifth wheel next year, and I'm considering installing a front receiver hitch to haul the bicycles. My truck just 'barely' fits in the garage now, and I'm concerned that if this hitch protrudes at all, then the truck might not fit. I'm using the tennis ball hanging from the ceiling now to get as close to the back wall as possible. Anyway, if you have one, I'd like to know how it fits. Thanks K |

Just cut out a little bit of the wall and use the hitch to touch park

I made one for My o6 using receiver stock /and a welder LOL
works great with a bully dog step also there is a lot of Metal under that truck you can have one made that wouldn't need to stick out ,, but I wouldn't tow the truck with one that wasn't engineered .. I do use mine to park my boat / carry bikes / I have a set of Simpson ladder racks that drop in to the bed and a custom one for the receiver if I want to carry 20 foot stuff and that bully step for working on the engine |
