That reminded me that I even have an extra trailer wiring plug and reciever stashed away in my toolbox. Also have a set of clevis', a wheel chok or two, a hard hat I picked up somewhere (don't even know why I keep it in there really). Have one of the seat belt/wind breaker things in the cab.

On a side note, check your chains/straps at every stop. I keep the binders on the left side of the trailer so I can keep an eye on them in my drivers side mirror.

One piece of equipment that I keep with me is a portable battery pack that has the jumper cables. If you have to jump yourself or someone else, it's safer then hooking standard jumper cables.

Things I take when traveling

I haul around a 400 watt generator and a battery charger - I find the jumper boxes to be to small to jump 2 batteries. Along with the usual tools and things. I also got a water pump from the previous owner of my truck, so that goes with us too.

Interesting idea man, I think a real little generator would be enough to run a charger

If I keep adding all this stuff into the tool box on the truck I am gunna runna outta room in a hurry.

I have an assortment of 2x4 pieces in different lengths and also a 4x4x24" block incase I need to drop my stock trailer and I forgot the blocks I generally keep with it. I don't have enough length outta my jack to unhook w/o the block and get the truck out from under it.

Have a small colapsable chair in my toolbox for some reason too.............guess so if it's gunna be a long wait I can go sit in the shade..........

That reminds me I need to go out and organize and putt some of the stuff back where it belongs in there.
