5th Wheel or Bumper Pull Toy Hauler?

I'm looking at toy haulers, both 5th wheel and bumper pull. Is 5th wheel definitely the way to go and what are the main disadvantages/advantages of both? I'm looking around the 34 foot range and will be pulling it with a 2011 F250. I've pulled lots of trailers but never a 5th wheel. I don't see much difference in the prices but looking for the best deal I can so looking at both types.

I have had both and prefer the stability and increased space of the 5th wheel. Mine is a 33' being towed with my F250 and it works GREAT. My GCVW is just below the max of 20k lbs. Bear in mind that the weight ratings of the F250 are a bit lower than the F350's. Some say it's just a number, but I don't want to debate that with an insurance adjuster if something ever happens.

Thanks, we've liked the 5th wheel toy haulers the best so far when just looking at them and most everyone says they pull much better and easier to get around. Going to go look at a few today, now if I could just win the lottery so I could easily afford one!

Holy chit!!!! ^^^That's crazy right there! WOW

Definitely go 5er. I've had 3 toy haulers....2 bumper pulls and the 5er toyhauler I have now. Love it and I'll never have a bumper tag again

I only have experience with goosenecks but they are so much better than bumper pulls its not even funny, turning, parking, backing up, stability, control. All so much better than bumper pull, and 5th wheel is said to be better than gooseneck. If you can afford it, go with the 5th wheel and don't look back.
