Got my b&w 5th wheel companion yesterday. What a neat hitch it is. Quality is all I can say.

I've been using one for about 4 years now. Never looked back. Will likely never own another brand of hitch again.

I just don't like how it's not at "easy" to install/remove as they make it out to be.

I can have mine out by myself in less than five minutes including scaring up my socket wrenches.

I was just under the 'assumption' I guess that all you had to do is pull the pin, drop it in, and then pin it from the side and you're good.

yea that's what i thought too before i got mine, but it's only 5 bolts you gotta tighten, not bad at all. and that makes it harder to steal too

I will say this: the install kit is wonderful. Everything fits great (I've only done two Dodges) and is, of course, the best quality.

I agree with all above. I thought it would've easier, but even still, it's better than rails. Towed with it yesterday, it was great! But my truck overheated for a second. Then as soon as I pulled over it went back to normal. Any ideas what it was? Think my head gaskets?

Do you have a monitoring system? What overheated? Puking from degas bottle? We need more info. What were your ECTs and EOTs at the time?
