Gooseneck to Fifth Wheel Trailer Adapter - where to find one?

I just bought a used gooseneck trailer:

eBay Motors: 2002 goose neck 2 car trailer (item 320164330182 end time Oct-04-07 15:51:40 PDT)

but I have a 5th wheel hitch in my pickup and I have zero desire to replace it with a gooseneck. From speaking to the seller of the trailer, he states that the trailer's gooseneck can be swapped out for a fifth wheel, similar to how my Kaufman three car is setup. unbolt the jam nuts, pull the pin and slide off the gooseneck attachment and slap on the fifth wheel.

the question is...where on earth do I find this part? I'm about to rip it off my of 3 car just to get this 2 car home. so far, I've only found this part:

Gooseneck to Fifth Wheel Trailer Adapter 2085205 : Trailer hitch bike rack and trailer hitches - etrailer.com

and this:

eBay Motors: 5th Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch to Gooseneck Adapter (item 110176860259 end time Oct-13-07 04:02:04 PDT)

Any thoughts, tips or connections are greatly appreciated.

I have no clue, I checked out a co. we use quite often that sells tons of trailer stuff wholesale, and all they had was the adapter. I know there is a place over near Upper Black Eddy, Ringo Hill trailers, they have alot of trailers and supplies there, not the cheapest but they can at least give some options.

Why wouldn't either of those work? That looks to me like those would solve your problem...

thanks for the guidance, I'm sure the seller knows how to get there.

I'd like a permanent solution, the one pipe setup looks to be a temporary setup(?) and the other solution, though neat in form, is certainly a temporary fix at best. I'd really like to just convert the trailer to a 5th wheel connection.

I'm not sure I understand what you are looking for. The adapter that fits in the gooseneck like the goose latch does is about as good as it gets. It's rated to 30,000 lbs, how much more are you looking for. Short of hacking up the trailer and welding on adapters for a pinbox, it looks like you have already found the best option.

I like the first one. It looks as close to the intended design of the trailer as I could imagine. It differs very little from the original trailer and like said, it's rated at 30,000 lbs.

Iv'e had Reese fifth wheel rails in my last 3 trucks. Go out and purchase a "GOOSE" adapter from Reese. Sits down in the rails and pins in like a fifth wheel hitch. The great part is that you don't have to take it out to put in the fifth wheel hitch, just goes over the top of it. Rated at 25000lbs I believe.
real easy to take out if you need a flat bed. Don't buy from your local RV dealers. Much cheaper online. I paid a little over $200 with shipping and the dealers around me wanted over $300 and they had to order it. I had mine in about 4-5 days.
