After going over the trailer today, that's the one that I'm going to go with. it's exactly what I need and will probably take no more then 30 minutes to convert. I'm going to go shopping around town for a local supplier before I commit to buying it online.

thanks to everyone for your insight!

Chevk out turnoverball.com

Go with the B&W and get the 5r adapter... You can pull both gooseneck a 5r trailers.

They are the best and most universal hitch I have seen.....

I install them every day at work and they are really simple...... AND NO RAILS IN YOUR BED

I have a similar question, I'm looking into getting one of those Goosenecks w/ the turnover ball, mainly because I want to have a more stable trailer on the highway because what I'm hauling is heavy and awkward and I also want to have full use of my bed when I'm not hauling, and the rails that goosenecks or 5th wheels use are ugly IMO and take up some of that useful space. I got a price of about $575 for a hitch installed in my bed. Is this a good price? And also what are some opinions on that setup?
Thanks.

they sell a sleeve for the gooseneck trailer that has a kingpin in the end of it - replaces the sleave that you already have...unless yours is welded solid.

I actually went with the first option, the new sleeve, and it's been smooth hauling since. The sleeve installed in about 5 minutes and works great, I just wish that the base was slightly wider as my Holland/Brinkley hitch has plenty of surface area that isn't being used anymore (the kaufman's fifth king pin base covered more).

BG06, I know you're sold on the Goose neck idea but if you plan on hauling often, I'd recommend a fifth wheel for it's ease of use and quick connections.

I purchase and had my own hitch installed by the owner of Hitch Crafter of Lexington North Carolina...yes I drove down there. They also carry gooseneck setups as well as air ride suspensions for everything...which I should have purchased.

Here's the exact hitch that I have and it is removable but no where near as simple to pull out as some goose neck options.

Hitch Crafter

I saw a new Gooseneck hitch in either the latest issue of Truck Trend or 8 LUG, it looked like a pretty decent setup, and is said to be the easiest to install. Next thing I guess is to find a decent 20-24ft Flatbed trailer, Anybody no some one in the NE that is reputable and would give me a decent price, I'm thinking about financing it, I don't need anything fancy.
Thanks.

I bought mine for $330 off eBay and installed myself. I was scared as hell cutting the hole, but it turned out to be easeier than I thought. Fit perfectly and couldn't be happier. They also sell a "companion hitch" which is a removeable 5th wheel hitch that plugs into the same hole. Much better in my opion because there aren't any rails the bed of your truck and you can install/remove in no time at all.
