I am looking to get some info on what I shocks I should buy. I have a 2005 F350 DRW crew cab. It is a daily driver. I tow a 30FT trailer that comes in at around 9800lbs.
I have always used Rough Country or Rancho shocks on my diesels. They are fairly cheap and I believe they get the job done. No point in spending a ton more money on something that will wear out in just about the same amount of time. just my :2cents
rancho RS5000's ride like crap. A good cheap shock is a Monroe Reflex. I'm now running Rancho RS9000XL's only because they came with my lift. I like them.
I have Rancho RSX's on mine. Put them on two weeks ago. Summitracing had them for $20 a piece. I couldn't beat the price so i said i would give them a shot. I pull a 10,000lb 30ft fifth wheel and it rode great.
