Yeah. Theres some guys pullin some decent numbers out of the VE pumped trucks. When I dynoed mine, there was a 92 that actually had alot of work done to it, and it layed down like 415...the same money spent on a CR woulda put down 600-700! I want to get a 93 ex. cab and put a 7100 pump on it...sleeper!

If your only interested in dodge why aren't you over in the dodge forum taking cummins/ Seems the powerstroke forum is the wrong place to talk pure dodge.

it wouldnt work just like that the internals would never hold up they cant take that kind of pressure it would be eaiser to just buy one with a p pump on it put a #10 fuel stop plate on it have the delivery valves cut and put some high reving govener springs on it at that point you'll have in the neighborhood of about 350 hp the some big marine injectors and turbo work and your at about 450-500 hp

because were all diesel enthusiests. were not talking dodge were talking about cummins. just like powerstrokes arent ford they are international. I love the ford trucks and I always have. But i havent always agred with the available powertrain offerd in them. idealy my dream truck would be the 2004-07 superduty with a common rail cummins in it.

dont get me wrong now that i have about 700 bucks in my powerstroke it is sure fun to drive but the same amount of money in a cummins would give you allot more Hp per dollar spent. not to mention ive seen 12 valve cummins get up to 25 miles per gallon which is about 10mpg more than my powerstroke gets.

Yes this is a "POWERSTROKE Forum" but you will find the majority of us are prety open minded.

Umm well.....yes, I am all about Dodge. I like the trucks themselves, and I love the engine. BUT, over-all, Ive always liked diesels. I was trying to get my dad to buy a diesel back when they werent the "in" thing to have. Back when the 7.3 had no turbo, when Chevy still had 6.5 diesels in half ton trucks. This thread isnt about Dodge, a pic was posted, some good-humored jabs were made, in BOTH directions, and it kinda drifted to talk of the Cummins. SORRY. I was wondering how long it would be until an individual hinted that I shouldnt be over here. Sorry buddy, Im over here to talk with like-minded diesel enthusiasts, regardless of what engines under the hood, and learn more about the PSD. Its called "expanding your horizons" And if the occasional thread drifts to Cummins talk, or Duramax talk, or even a Volkswagen TDI Jetta, so be it

Oh yea, I used to be pro-Ford, but they lost me with the 6.0L.

I pay VERY close attention to whats driven out there. 6.0 Fords and new 07 Dodges are about 50/50. GM trucks, very and far between. Anybody else, ha! The import trucks (that as everyone knows are actually American built...) wouldnt stand up to the rough roads/heavy loads, etc. that the Dodges and Fords do. At work, its all Fords and a dew Chevys. But rest assured, theres only two makes that can take the abuse; yall drive one, and I drive the other. The 6.0 andck the spat with International has undoubtedtly hurt Ford though. I honestly hope they pull through and get their stuff together...
Actually according to current sales figures, Powerstroke outsells the other two combined!

In fact the F Series is the most popular truck in recorded history( 29 milion units sold), and the second most sold vehicle in the world, second only to the Toyota Corolla(32 million units sold)!

Haha, I know, I know!! I think its a conspiracy though...

What I meant by that, was solely work trucks. Wasnt including personal vehicles. But, I did recently hear something about the Dodge out-selling Fords for something...Havent verified it, but Ill try to dig the article up.

Dodge prlobably out sells Ford on Car market?

It's all good! I loved my little 6.2 when I had it! It started me on the diesel kick, and it was a GREAT unbeatable little truck! It was one of the truck I actually cried when I sold! (men are STOOPID)

Yep, I suspect that trailer is only good for 12,000 pounds, also.
