would like some advise
hello im new to the forum and would like some advice I have a 97 ford powerstroke and would like to increase my mpg and hp without spending to much

Custom tymar style Intake, 4 inch straight pipe with a 3 inch downpipe, and a custom tuned chip. Tony wildman tunes have a good rep. Also gauges would be good. Is it a auto or manual?

Well I'd do what I said, but other people should chime in too. You should get a boost, and egt gauge for sure especially if you tow. The intake is easy and cheap to do just search for DIY intake or Tymar intake, and 4 inch exhaust with a 3 inch downpipe is a must IMO.
