SINGLE OR DUALLS

Ok, time to put the broken record on again; I'm putting a deposit on a new TV this spring for a summer delivery. I'm considering both the Ford and Ram.

My main question deals with getting a SW or DW. Here's what I pull:

It's 34' overall, weighs about 10k empty, 11,500 when pulling, and tongue weight is between 2k and 2500 (haven't weighed it yet, but also has an Onan 4500 in there).

I know the single 350 has more than enough capacity to handle the tongue and trailer weight, and (when equipped with the camper package) has all the needed stuff (TSW, rear sway bar, etc). That's also two less tires and less overall weight. However, the DW is more stable.

I don't tow very much (maybe twice a year) or long; 1,200 mi round trip at the longes. What I do a lot is commute and make lumber runs, so an 8' box is needed.

This is my current TV and it tows like a champ, but hate the lack of comfort and cab space for long trips.

Thanks in advance for the inputs.
