Quickest power adders

I am new to the Forum as well as diesel life. Finally in the process of purchasing my dream vehicle, 2000-02 excursion. Of course with a 7.3. Just wanted some in sight by the pros on where to start with the add ons. Got the speaker system already in my head but performance direction is what I am looking for. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

buy a 6.0 if your looking for something fast

4" or 5" exhaust with a 4" Downpipe, Intake, (DIY-6637 is both efficient and cheap!) Gauges, and then a CUSTOM TUNED TS Style chip. (PHP gets my vore! )
