website for "for hire" trucks?
I found a website that comprised of people needing stuff moved, cars, motorcycles, boats, ect a few weeks ago and unfortunately forgot to bookmark it. I thought it may be a way to make a few bucks on my frequent trips to florida I make with an empty truck.... Anyone know of such a website??

How do they manage to ship any of that stuff? I checked it out and some of that crap is rediculous. What kinda insurance you need to do this kinda thing?

defiantly not uship, i actually just used them to have my ducati shipped from vegas to indy.... i found this mystery site months ago, it was more like a forum with people posting what they have and where it needs to go. no middle man to take fees or anything, just you and the property owner. the hunt continues....

You need to have DOT authority, insurance, medical card, log books, it's a commercial hauling venture. |

guess i got lucky with my motorcycle move, just had my bike picked up in vegas yesterday, going to indianapolis for a total of $470! had lots of offers, most in the 800 range but they were from the larger commercial companies. the guy who picked it up had a 20 something foot trailer on the back of a duromax with 5 other bikes on board all heading for the east coast.

Did he have DOT #s , company name or anything on his truck?

sure did, i did alot of research before trusting him with my new ducati. verified his "company" through uship and the BBB before scheduling pickup.
