I understand what you are saying about the trailer, but with this cover you are essentially getting a trailer and a cover at the same time. And keeping your ATV dry? ATV's are made to get muddy and wet. I mean, i know you dont purposely put your ATV out in the rain, and let it sit there all the time, but if you are traveling, and it gets wet? That doesnt really seem like a concern. Plus the cover allows you to have the option of hauling an RV or something along those lines. or i know some people that like to go ATVing and jet skiing on the same trip. This is the best way to transport both products.

I see what your saying, but a covered trailer to hold both..allows you to just park it ready to go next time when you get home..and can be gotten for about 2500-3000 for a 6 by 10.Yes, they have their advantage if your also doing a large trailer...but i suspect a payload limitation will restrict you from putting more weight on the back of your truck if your tongue weight gets high enough..something to think about. I think they are too pricey, when you are considering who provides the axel...

Exactly my situation. The last thing I need is ANOTHER trailer! I look like I own a trailer dealership.

Steve that's a good point to check on how much you're loading up the rear end. I would imagine most folks with travel trailers would be fine unless they have a real behemoth but you still gotta do the math just in case!

That is untrue. They proved that leaving your tailgate down does nothing for fuel mileage. Diesel World Magazine actually proved quite the opposite of what you posted(Diesel World Magazine "More MPG for Your Super Duty")

The only one I have seen in person was on a truck owned by someone here on the org "firstonraceday". I would pm him to get his opinion on it. He puts a full size golf cart on his to take to the drag strip for transportation around the track area. I think that the cover is pretty sweet. Definitely a sturdy cover in my opinion.

I thought that the test was with the tailgate up or down and mileage was better with the tailgate up.
My mileage really improved but I was going 90mph all the time...
