Man, that really sucks Marty, like the other guys said, at least you can say you did it pulling out a concrete truck!!! If it makes you feel any better, you could be in my shoes. My truck has been on blocks, with no drivetrain between the flywheel and the axles for over a week. Don't know for sure when it will get fixed!! |

Carnage, here is the tailgate and the bed... 180213013_597778470_0.jpg Here is the concrete truck frame/axles. My friend Brian is standing in the middle of it (long ways). About 1/3rd of it was under ground. It's a double walled frame that's 12" from top to bottom!!! trailer.jpg Here is what is left of Brians Tcase motor from when his front driveshaft snapped and knocked the motor off. Stuck in 4LOW until we were able to pry it back into 2wd. 180213123_597778853_0.jpg All and all about 1,000 dollars in damages today LOL.... good news is that a 5.4L gasser crewcab couldn't pull it out, another 7.3L couldn't but my truck did haha... so its one of those OUCH, did that just happen turned into WOW my truck yanked the SH!T out of it!!! haha... I also pulled my Tcodes (this is post water pump fix). P0238 Turbo Boost Sensor A Circuit High Input - Normal P0478 Exhaust Pressure Control Valve High Input - Not sure why PO541 Manifold Intake Air Heater - Normal P0720 OSS Sensor Circuit Malfunction - New, trying to figure out what this is. P1211 ICP Not Controllable - Pressure Abow/Below Desired - Normal P1249 Wastagate Fail Steady State Test - guess it has to do with the boost tube P1280 ICP Circuit Out of Range Low - Normal I'm posting this on here now so I can look them up tomorrow at work. |

Chug bug! The second code, P0720 I need to fix because this is likely why my O/D light blinks and defuels the truck on boosted launches. If I fix this, I might not need a new tranny like I initially thought. Granted, I want one, but I'm going to be spending a big chunk of change fixing my truck. Here is the best link I can find for this code... http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/7-3...-troubles.html Quote:
Plans now, since I won't have enough for a built tranny after this... Fix bed/tailgate. Install gooseneck I have sitting in garage. Bracket off roof, paint it, and install clearance lights I have in garage. Fix P0720 BTS VB TQ commander Brake box We'll see where I stand after that.... |
