Sorry to hear about the damage, but atleast it happened doing something that you can brag about later. Everytime I break mine there is never a cool story to go with it.

Man, that really sucks Marty, like the other guys said, at least you can say you did it pulling out a concrete truck!!!

If it makes you feel any better, you could be in my shoes. My truck has been on blocks, with no drivetrain between the flywheel and the axles for over a week. Don't know for sure when it will get fixed!!

Here is the concrete truck frame/axles. My friend Brian is standing in the middle of it (long ways). About 1/3rd of it was under ground. It's a double walled frame that's 12" from top to bottom!!!

Here is what is left of Brians Tcase motor from when his front driveshaft snapped and knocked the motor off. Stuck in 4LOW until we were able to pry it back into 2wd.

go to an after market place that put the big work beds on and see if they have a "new take off" to put back on your truck, most of them run for about $300-500.

These are the two codes I need to address. The first one P0478, I can't believe I'm still getting because I already cleaned out the EBPV tube.
Chug bug!

The second code, P0720 I need to fix because this is likely why my O/D light blinks and defuels the truck on boosted launches. If I fix this, I might not need a new tranny like I initially thought. Granted, I want one, but I'm going to be spending a big chunk of change fixing my truck. Here is the best link I can find for this code...

He offered his dented up WHITE tailgate, but I declined. LOL, besides he ain't got any money so that'd be like getting blood out of a turnip!

Plans now, since I won't have enough for a built tranny after this...
Fix bed/tailgate. Install gooseneck I have sitting in garage.
Bracket off roof, paint it, and install clearance lights I have in garage.
Fix P0720
BTS VB
TQ commander
Brake box

We'll see where I stand after that....
