I went with the spot just under that little hook, on the passenger side of the center of the dash- the trash bag hook. I could still reach it but would not normally get kicked... I would ahve mounted it closer- like under the little opening but I already had the vhf and cb radios mounted there- stacked... I might move it over next to the radios if I get a chance, but have alot of other projects to do before that... make it easier to grab now that the tablet got mounted... |

Here's mine - looks noticable in the pics - but with tinted window and being under the dash, its outta the way and still reachable in an emergency braking situation, and looks clean... I'll try to take one from the side soon to show that its back "under" the dash - not sticking out like it looks in the pic...

I'm still leaning on the cubby hole right now, I even thought about taking out the cup holder next to it and mounting it in there. |

Well, the my Prodigy came with two brackets -- the plastic on that I used there that you can remove the controller and then a metal one that can be under/over the controller and is scewed to the controller. I just liked the idea of being able to remove it if I ever drop it off for service or must leave my truck unattended...I'll see what I can do about a pic on Friday when I get off work!

I mounted my controller to the surface of the dash below the cubby. The controller has an adjustment for level. It is held to the dash with button type velcro. Only once did it fall down but the temp was -5. After the cab warmed up I stuck it back up and have no problem since. No holes to drill and no sign of being there at resale time.

That's right, the Emergency lever is on the rear of the controller isn't it?
Thanks for those awesome pics. Kinda rethinking it now since the emergency lever is an issue now, always something.. Anyway, I'll probably end up mounting it below the cubby hole like how you and everyone else got it. |
