3-receiver hitch?

I have never seen a hitch like this, but it is on the truck I bought. Is it okay to use as a "single" center tow hitch?

Not sure what you mean by a "single" center tow hitch, but you probably need a 3" to 2" adapter. You could also get a 3" receiver if you plan on towing over 12k.

Most of our trucks have a 2" receiver. There are also 2 1/2" and 3" receivers for those that need to move larger loads. I believe the 2 1/2" is a option on some of the newer SD's.

yeah get a pic up! I had the 2 1/2 on my old 350 and got the bigger stinger at napa and loved it. I wish my 250 had the 2 1/2'' it would be better for sled pulling and I could make a stronger hitch.

Pic

If you right click the "box" in my post, it will go to the pic. I hate you can't post pics directly in your post.

Here is the link to the pic as well: 2001 F350 - George - Outlaws Rod & Custom- powered by SmugMug

The hitch on my truck has 3 receivers, NOT just one in the center. I'm not asking about the size, but rather what kind of hitch has three receivers.

Hope this clears some things up.
