[tb 99 7.3]

I have heard a couple of rumors from a few people saying that the 2010 models will go to a cummins or back to the proven 7.3 that will be able to pass emmisions. Has anyone heard anything like this? I think it will be the best thing to happen in a long time since they switched from the 7.3 the frist time.

From what i heard it will be a common rail 7.3 or a cummins I haven't heard anything about the scorpion. If ford designed it then we might have some problems, i mean look at the new 6.4L. That is a ford designed motor built by international

the 7.3 is dead and for a reason 6.7 is whats coming and very few know much of anything about it besides its inhouse no doubt cr quite possibly reversed head flow

you probably shouldnt even post, and get new sources, everything you said is wildly incorrect and whats wrong with the 6.4 besides it makes more power with less work than any previous motor in a ford??

It "will" be the Scorpion. There is nothing at all wrong with the6.4 but since Ford and Navistar are parting ways thats the way it is. I am excited about the Scorpion though!

redesigned 7.3 would be freakin awesome... but word on the street is ford is going in house and making their own motor,still will be called the powerstroke, but its code named the scorpion. I heard more like 450-500 hp. they are also going to put a diesel in the F150, i think its a 4.4L (correct me if im wrong) and thats code named the raptor.

But id like to get my hands on a common rail 7.3!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
