A friend of mine had a 3500 dually with the Cummins and 5 speed. It was a farm truck too, hauled a fifth wheel with a pulling tractor on it. It was juiced up pretty good, but not reliable at all, ate transmissions and injector pumps like they were going out of style. Cracked the block once too. When the Duramax came out I heard a lot of stories about the aluminum heads not working with the iron block, but I don't think anything came of it. I got the chance to drive one of the 2wd Duramax trucks and was not impressed at all. It just flat out didnt have the pull of the PSD. I hope all the talk of the new 6.4 Powerstroke is true, I haven't been able to find anything solid about it yet. If it does come around, I don't think Cummins and Isuzu will be able to compete.

There ya go that's the best way to find out. Although I don't think they will tell you the whole truth. If it's not been officially announced they might hint around at it or just flat out say no.

Love the toolbar, Lem. My brother is starting to wonder if I am becoming a "truck guy." My wife just caught me looking at this website. It was a minute or 2 before she stopped laughing (at me, not you guys).

There's always duds out there. Someone will get a dud psd, a dud cummins, or a dud dura but there's always the ones that are strong from the time they come off the assembly line. Of course most of those are psd's!!

Kinda an inside joke between Lem and I. However, the new toolbar does look good! You PSD guys are great. Most of the guys on all the M3 forums are a bit arrogant, and you guys seem just a bit more down to earth
