Is this necessary?

140V IDM mod resistor question

Is it really needed to have a sig that takes up an entire page? Is there some reason this is allowed? This is not the only example on the website.

It makes it a huge pain in the *** to navigate the site, to read and respond to threads...

Could you not put size limits on things? Or set the site up to where it only shows on the first post per page?

Short answer, if you don't wish to view sigs there is an option to turn them off in your User CP.

Sigs are very useful to know what a person has or has not done to there rigs when replying to a thread... Why do we need full page or more sig's???

Your short anwser is short sighted.

I get what you are saying, It is annoying hence why I cut mine down to the basics. I get sick of seeing huge sigs unless they are a vendor or something like that.

But on the flip side a lot of guys are proud of their trucks and go at it. So I dont wanna knock their pride one bit. I am an OBS guy and a lot of us have big sigs for the previously stated reason. There was a debate about it in our little world which just led to a bunch of crap. This is a touchy subject in a way

Exactly

ya think if it's not a site rule folks would just self police out of common courtesy to others but just like anything give some folks an inch and there goes a mile

or say" it's to hard to fix and it's no big deal"

then you get in thread where there's a bunch in a row and I just move on

Just because I have a banner that states "Moderator"
does not mean you can't argue with my opinions !
