07 Ford 6.0 350 runs rough

My 07 Ford 6.0 350 runs rough when I first start up for the day. Lack of power and hesitates badly for about 2-3 miles until warm. I also notice when idling at a stop light it hesitates or runs a bit rough but not all the time. Getting less mpg than normal. Also had check engine go on for a day and went off and not back on since. 160,000 Miles.
I'm a new member and happy to hear from you.
Any help appreciated.

Could be your egr valve needs cleaning. Or its probably stiction. A dose of revx should tell you of that's the case.

It's an oil additive. I had the same issues that you describe and revx pretty much cleared them up. There's another additive that gets some good reviews bit I have no experience with it. It's called hotshot secrets. It won't fix the problem only injector repair will do that. It that is on fact your engines problem.

Okay, I just did oil change so I should add this to the oil and see if it works?
Can you recommend any injector solutions?

Yes you can add it now. I suggest you talk to someone more knowledgeable about injectors.

Found out today my truck has an electronic or electric egr valve. This changes the theory of oil treatment.
Any other ideas as to why running rough?

What you found out changes nothing about the probability that your truck suffers from stiction. And that you should clean your egr valve. Good luck.
