Apparently we are doing very well on here as far as premium membership. To everyone who has signed up for premium membership your support is greatly appreciated by Lem. The following quote came direct from Lem in a post he left in a thread over on the Cummins forum.

The thread I got that quote from as well as the next one are from a thread about the new ads you may or many not have noticed. A few members have expressed their displeasure with their location. So to help put the cost of running this site for us all read below and you may get a better understanding.

The Ads you guys see that bother you bring in maybe $0.75 a day. The Google/FireFox Ads at the top bring in a dollar every 3 days maybe. My server that I run this thing on costs me $1200 every 3 months. The Advertisers help out, but mainly make it so that we can do upgrades, pay for the rest of the hosting, and make it so that I can spend a little more time in the background making things better and getting ready for the future of this site. So no, that $2 a day isnt everything but it goes a long ways towards someone that is trying to buy a house, is getting married, spends his spare time working with teens and trying to keep food on his plate. I dont make my living off the internet. But it helps pay my internet bills

So as you can see Lem has his plate full and it's great to see that we have done our part in helping to keep these forums online for your use. We are glad to have each and every member on here and welcome anyone that you can refer to join!

this site is awesome, and the whopping $1 a month is nothing to pay to help support this site which has deffinately helped me and im sure has helped many others.

i dont care for ads too much but i figured they were helping fund the site somehow, they arent too gauldy or in the way or anything so it doesnt hurt anything.


i have only been a member for a few months and i have noticed the growth and think its great

oh and who wouldnt guess we were SMOKEIN the cummins guys!!!

Seriously though, Y'all ROCK! Thank you ALL for the support. As you can see, Andy 'aint exactly getting rich off this place and the time that myself, Marc and ALL our Moderators put in is strictly voluntary, we don't get paid. I pay for my membership just like the rest of y'all. My daughters want to become Supporting members and they are going to pay for their own just as everyone else does. All we're doing is helping a site we enjoy hanging out on and learning from.
