Enhanced Searching?

I seem to have issues with searching in the forums. Our forum is pretty big so I often want to try to narrow the number of results returned. Can we do enhanced searching such as

"glow plug" AND harness to narrow down to just threads with the phase "glow plug" AND the word harness present

as opposed to

glow plug harness, which seems to return results with the words "glow" and/or "plug" and/or "harness"

I've tried all the combination of search methods I'm used to in other sites, but doesn't seem to work well here. Thoughts?

Use the google search on the top left of the homepage it works good
