Requesting access to usergroups

Hey folks,
I have made some changes and you now have the ability to request to be added to the following usergroups. I have also added a usergroup leader to each of the usergroups, so that should give several members of the staff the ability to grant or deny permission to those folks requesting to join that meet the criteria.

Chapter Director - Abobb/Granny - usergroup leaders
Emergency Services - Dave
Military Member - westcoaststrokin

Individuals requesting to join those groups will need to go into their user control panel (user CP) and under Networking and Group Memberships, you will see the option to join group as shown in the pic below. The group leaders will verify that you meet the criteria and can add you to the usergroup. Let me (or the group leader) know if this is unclear or isn't working as expected.

One other thing to add to this. When you send the request also PM the usergroup leader so that they know you did it

ok, I am a little lost. What does the usergroup thing involve? If I half way understand this, with me being an Asst. Director, I can join the chapter director group.

Our goal is to make it possible for the chapter director and asst directors to have a place to come together and swap ideas between themselves to find ways to make their chapters grow and become stronger. It is open for the directors and asst. directors. I encourage all directors and asst directors to request to join this user group. If all goes as planned, I think all chapters will benefit greatly. Only time will tell.
