So ive been changing up the look of the truck recently tinted tails and workin on the 05 convo
anyways heres the befor bumper look

heres the nice scratches it got while sitting in my dads garage

so i had to do a high build primer

then wetsanded

now ready to shoot some black sealer primer then paint, ive got my fingers crossed it warms up and is nice

all in all im pretty impressed with Duplicolors paint. even though its from a can you still get amazing results, Laurie saw a test piece so she knows.

EDIT: UPDATE: so the ups man brought me some nightshade for christmas haha so i did all the lights today, came out really good some people say they come out rough or dull but mine are perfect nice smooth glossy finish, and they still light up really good. also got the sealer primer on the bumper and 2 base coats when i ran out of paint and it started getting windy and a bug landed on it anyways heres the pics

thats how im runnin right now doesnt look to bad, im getting the Harley lights for christmas and i need to find a harley grill

Very nice, PLEASE tell me that u painted those tow hooks while u had the bumper off???? I did mine & even tho its not as nice a truck as yours I like my tow hooks & brackets prettier.......not that dull rusted black look

paint the mirrors. i noticed you had a little pocket from cold weather on your paint job...the bubbles? what kind of paint did u use?

no laurie i didnt they arent too bad looking though, yea gabriel mirrors and door handles will be painted soon when i get a chance. takes a lot more work to smooth em out.

what are you talking about cold weather bubbles? i did it in a heated garage. its completely smooth are you talking about the metalic flake? i used duplicolor perfect match in a can, btw

I thought his paint looked great!! when u do the mirrors etc I'd like u to post that info up too, cuz mine soo need it & I've been wanting to do the ugly handles, but I'm not brave like u. so when u do it post up your process..I still think u have a money tree in your backyard......lol

Thanks laurie! Gabriel the truck itself has worse orange peel then the bumper you have to see it in person because it's almost better quality than the truck itself and hel it's pretty good for spray paint.

Yea I will Laurie I'm trying to decide on the mirrors where I want to stop the paint at and keep the plastic because the sliding part will just peel the paint back. I've never smoothed out stuff like that so it will be an experience. I know how just never done it.

$13 a can. You have to order it usually because it's illegal to tint lights in Cali.
