WCS G2G February 16, 2013: Sacramento Autorama!!!

Ok guys. Our very own Darryl (SuperCrutyPS) found this and proposed it as a possible G2G:

Information on the 2012 O'Reilly Auto Parts Sacramento Autorama - $18 Admission, $10 parking. (Discount tickets ($2 off) available at O'Reilly's) would make it $16 Admission, $10 parking.
Another site I used to belong to used to use Autorama as a kick-off for G2Gs for the year. People would come from all over. We'd meet for breakfast before and then go into the parking lot, do some pics and then go in to wander around looking at cars, motorcycles, etc.
So.....just throwing it out as a possible G2G. If interested, we can go from there.

I think it's a great idea and, unless something horrendous comes up, I will be attending. Saturday works best for me as well so let's call it Saturday February 16, 2013. So this is an open invitation for another WCS meet-and-greet. Let's start 2013 off right!

Get your clothing and t-shirt orders in to me soon, also, so I can get them back to you in time for this event. Let's represent the WCS and the ORG at this event. The ORG and our chapter could end up in potentially HUNDREDS of photographs all over the internet. Great opportunity for some advertisement.

Looking forward to it - Haven't been in about three years.

So...question: The gates open at 10a.
Do we want to:
a) meet for breakfast ahead of time
b) skip breakfast, meet somewhere, then go into parking lot as a group
c) just go in and park, designate a meeting spot?

Suggestion: Once in the parking lot find a place to take a group shot we could use for the ORG G2G contest.

FYI - Should probably bring extra $$. There are vendors of all kinds in there (food, detailer supplies, tire shops, etc)...just in case you see something you just HAVE to have.

As for just me, personally, if I leave at 5 am I'll be getting there right at 10 am. If you guys want to meet up for breakfast definitely go for it. I won't be able to make it but I will be getting there before ten so we can roll up on the autorama as a club. I think the kids call that "mobbing". I vote we meet up somewhere (if we can) and "mob" up on the event. I don't know how much parking there will be or how spread out we'll be. I do think, though, that we absolutely have to get a good group picture.
