G2G ideas for 2012!

HEy guys post up your MEet/G2G ideas for 2012 id like to at least get 4 meets in b4 next July! (that would be fun )

My ideas are

RPM In West Sacramento, Awsome Kart racing (for everyone) only like 20bucks and has a Subway in the building? set up perfectly for G2Gs and would be a blast!!

Sac raceway again All run our slow trucks down the strip, theres Truck events coming up id have to check some dates!


Parking lot meet, (at least 10 or more peeps) show your trucks at a location, BBQ (or go to a place) Mingle, look at trucks then convoy to a second desination... probly like a place for lunch or dinner!

Lemme know what you think, ill try my best to get as many people to go to each meet...you do the same!

i work in west sac & dont know of this place but i do know there is an RPM in rancho.......w sac would be cool could go on lunch breaks

G2G Suggestions:
Wrenching G2G
Detailing G2G
A burger joint G2G (In-N-Out, Jaspers, etc)

I'd like to make a suggestion - I know we've talked about having a big G2G or 2 attempting to get LOTS of WCS members together, but with members spread out, don't rule out localized G2Gs.

Like said rpm is not In west sac more like east sac and a wrench gtg is difficult for most because not everyone has stuff to work on nor do we have a place to do the work.

IMO we should stick to just powerstrokes for the meets tho because there is a contest on the org that wcs has the opportunity to win but we need have a meet that just represents our powerstroke members.

As for the track. I wouldn't say my truck is slow. A 16sec quarter mile in a 8k + pound 4wd lifted truck is pretty impressive. I'd like to see some more members participate though. The. There will be some other show n shines coming up as well

That's one of the reasons I suggestion localized or regional G2Gs. It might be easier to have smaller groups of about 5-8 to meet. Might still qualify for the G2G contest.

Sorry guys I got west sac confused with this parts shop I use. As for a wrench meet, that's why we have a scentral location. Go to the area bring your parts say (installing lights, changing tires, rims, new turbo etc) I know a lot of people in norcal if we plan farther ahead we could get 10 trucks easy. At least I could. Any other suggestions?

Not everyone has the parts or money for parts to do mods and on top of that it's a pita to load up a toolbox with all your tools to go do the work somewhere else. I prefer my own shop and place of work to do my maintenance and mods.

Well wrench or BBQ meet, we need somthing that everyone would enjoy and would want to drive a few hours too!
