Seattle Area Delo 400 Non LE

Hey guys,

Have any of you guys in the Seattle area had any luck finding the good old original Delo 400 15w-40, not this new LE stuff? I've looked around my usual places and the auto parts stores and they all just have the new LE stuff.

Costco.... but other than that.. it shouldn't be too hard to find Non-LE Delo.

Yea I may have to check a few more Costcos when I'm in the area. The Issaquah and downtown Seattle Costco, as well as Kirkland just had the new stuff, but I always drive up and down the corridor so maybe i can find it elsewhere.

My guess is to just keep searching. IDK why Delo went to all LE type - The LE is not approved for some of the engines we sell.

I think it's for the new diesels, lower ash so it won't clog up particulate filters. I always had good luck with the good old fashoned Delo and that diesel oil comparison thread got me thinking I want the original back. I may just switch to Rotella or Delvac 1300 Super if I can't find Delo. If I do find some, I will be sure to post in this thread where I found it in case other members are looking for it as well.
