need a little help

i have some kind of edge chip under the hood that came with the truck and on the setting its on now. someone told me that it is in high horsepower setting and i think its why my trans already had to be replaced at 46,000 miles. does anyone have a monitor that i could use to switch it (if its even possible) in northern va or close to it?

WHEN THE EDGE MONITOR IS UNPLUGGED, IT IS ALWAYS ON LEVEL 2. AND YOU CANNOT CHANGE IT UNLESS YOU PERMENANTLY GET A MONITOR.
