VSP is ramdonly checking for off-road fuel

I've noticed it a couple of times around the bridge and tunnel areas along with the Marine Terminals. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Yeah they seem to go in spurts......

I wouldn't let them check mine if they asked. They have to have probable cause to dip you. That is a search of the vehicle. What ammenndment is that?

Most just let them do it though

Thats the 4th Amendment. And I am with you! If they ask me, I am gonna tell em to go pound sand. I am not running red fuel, but they dont need to be in my tank without a damn good reason!

Doesn't apply to the commercial vehicles for some reason. I think it has something to do with the USDOT regs.

Yeah, if carry a CDL, they can search your truck anytime they want to.

that is my understanding., but i might be wrong. on a side note;drive 15 mph over the posted speed you automatically go to jail driving any vehicle if cdl licensed, but they don't enforce it.
