Hampton Roads

Hey all, Im new to the 6.0 PSD world, Looking for a few people in the VA beach, chesapeake,P-town, Norfolk. who has been working on there psd trucks for a while, and can give some good pointers. I know a tuner is in my future as some point in time. I just want to make sure before i add it, that it wont brake the truck. If anyone is looking for a new friend, in the area. Let me know.

On a side note, I would also like to see how active this Virginia room is.

---Steve.

Welcome to the PSD world. I am from Yorktown, just across the water. I currently work in Southern MD but am in VA on the weekends. I'll give a strong recommendation for SCT tuner with a custom tune, you won't be dissapointed once you hit the pedal.

I dont think you really HAVE to have the egr deleted for a tune but if you just got the insight, I would recommend watching temps and things for a little while to determine if your all good to go, then if you find out you need to tear into the motor for anything then you can delete it then. It's a lot of work to tear down just to delete the egr, you wanna make sure you're getting everything at once.
